The Logistics Lead is OES’s driver of in-country logistics and delivery performance, turning global supply chain strategy into reliable movement of treatment commodities from supplier handoff and importation to warehousing and distribution to agreed delivery points, on time and without interruption.

This is a founding, senior-level position on a small, start-up supply chain team, building the in-country logistics networks, vendor arrangements, systems, and government relationships required to support reliable delivery at scale. The Director, Global Supply Chain is coordinating simultaneously across commodity sourcing, procurement, quality assurance, and delivery, and needs a strong operational team focused on downstream logistics and the reliable movement of RUTF and other therapeutic nutrition products through in-country delivery networks. The role requires someone who can operate independently, make sound, fast judgment calls, and keep the Director reliably informed rather than needing direction on the fundamentals of in-country execution.

This position reports to the Director, Global Supply Chain, and works in close collaboration with OES's quality assurance function, the Country Liaison Officer and country team, and OES's warehouse and distribution partners. This position will work closely with the Global Commodity Procurement Lead, specifically for, but not limited to, customs clearance and importation timing and downstream impacts as determined and managed by the Global Commodity Procurement Lead. This role takes over once the product has cleared customs to provide systems to ensure in-country storage, warehousing, inventory management, buffer stock analysis, distribution, and partner coordination until product reaches its destination.
