Ramsey Day is a Senior Advisor for Operational End Starvation. Mr. Day is also the Head of Strategy at Lumenix USA, a leading healthcare technology company, and a Non-Resident Scholar in the Africa Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Mr. Day served in the first Trump Administration as the Assistant Administrator for Africa at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) where he led the agency’s foreign assistance policy development, budget planning, and program operations across 40 countries in sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to U.S. government service, Mr. Day was the Senior Director for the Center for Global Impact at the International Republican Institute (IRI) as well as IRI’s Country Director in Amman, Jordan. Mr. Day has held various positions within the international development community both in the United States and various overseas posts, including USAID/Montenegro Country Representative, USAID Chief of Public Liaison, and Chief of Staff for the Europe and Eurasia Bureau in the George W. Bush Administration.

Mr. Day holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) focusing on International Affairs from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
