PROPOSAL & CONTENT WRITER

OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO WASHINGTON, D.C.

The Proposal and Content Writer will play a critical role in translating Operation End Starvation’s (OES) programmatic, technical, financial, and impact priorities into clear, compelling content that advances philanthropic partnerships and strengthens donor understanding of OES’s work.

Working across the Development team and in close partnership with programmatic, technical, finance, and organizational leaders, this individual will lead the development of proposals, concept papers, funding requests, donor materials, impact/M&E reporting, and other priority content. The role requires both strong writing skills, sound judgment and stakeholder management, working across different needs and ensuring input from both the fundraising and technical teams is translated into compelling materials. The roles requires the ability to quickly understand complex information, identify the most relevant and persuasive story for a particular audience, and produce materials that are accurate, credible, concise, and tailored to purpose.
